Daisy and I feel exhausted!  we have had our first outing (I will talk of other things one day again!!!)........put her coat and muzzle on - had rather thought getting her into the car might be a problem and it was.  I had to lift her paws in the back  and then heave her up - I have a painful shoulder problem so that is NOT good ...however, once in, when I had removed the muzzle as she kept banging it against everything, she settled well into the back while I was just driviing around which was GOOD.  She didnt care for the various stops I had to make and kept coming into the front of the car to welcome me back.  Also my car makes huge noises when I lock the car and someone moves inside  *sigh*........that happened a few times, so I realise I cannot lock the car with her in it...OMGGGGG........there must be some way of disabling that alarm?

Went to a store called Alisons animals to get some treats and was amazed to find all the toys for dogs in there!  Ben and Pudding only had a ball!!!    Alison told me it is only the last six/seven years these have grown in popularity......so I bought several toys but she doesnt seem to know what to do with them, though loves knawing the 'toy' bone!    I felt I couldnt stop at a park or drive a bit into the country to give her a walk as I couldnt be certain of getting her in the car again so I waited till I got home to walk her round the block a bit.  Nervous about CATS but we saw none.  Trouble is she walks so close to me with her nose curled towards me that I cant walk fast at all.    Hopefully this will change gradually!!  it was hardly exercise for either of us!

When I got up this morning about 7.30 I let her out and went back to bed.  Slept till nine but was aware of her chasing mystical animals and barking..ohhhh dear - she did this last night when I went to bed between 12.3- l am.....so I think I must be very careful tonight or my neighbours will complain A LOT.

However - I wouldnt change her for the world - I love having with her, I know we have a way to go to get her socialised, to be stroked, to enjoy play, to walk properly with me - and, eventually to go for a run and come back to me!!!  cant imagine that yet, but hopefully it will come.  Quite a challenge...lol
