The day I met you here on Fifties I knew I found a friend
A friendship that I know and pray shall never ever end

Your vibrant Scottish personality ...  so cheeky and ohhhh so bright
Kept me slowly kicking along .. when my days were as dark as night

You never ever judged me but understood my sorrow
You told me it needn't be that way and gave me the hope of a better tomorrow

You were always there for me and I knew I could always count on you
To give advice and encouragement whenever I didn't know what to do

You helped me learn to love myself and made my life seem really good
And said I can do anything that I put my mind to .. and suddenly I could.

Although we have never met ... you always seemed so close
Circumstances have us so far apart but one day soon I SHALL be your host
