With a blink .. it changes.

My dear friend Kerry came home unwell from work last Monday.  She was terribly ill vomiting her heart out till Wednesday and called for an ambulance.

3 hours wait outside the hospital .. no beds in either the private or public hospitals  .. 7 other ambulances stuck in the driveway to accompany her ..and YES they are building a new hospital.

She finally got to theatre at 11pm that night.  Her appendix had burst some where in that period she was so ill.  They released her from hospital Saturday because of the bed shortage ... and I spent time with her up there that night.  She was so unwell and I begged her hubbie to call their own doctor .. but he didn't.  She kept saying she would be better tomorrow...  love don't you worry.

Well by tomorrow she was back in hospital ... with a collapsed bowel, a stomach full of fluid and a body still fighting that poison.

I just rang her again and she is so weak ..  Kerry is always so bubbly and active and strong.  Her daughter flew back from the States and arrived today. Her youngest daughter  (my god daughter) committed to work in France.

Now .. sitting ... thinking .. realising the seriousness of her illness  ... she didn't bounce back like I had thought she would .. worrying (my biggest downfall) with misty eyes ... for she means the world to me .. and I must try and get rid of these negative thoughts and focus on the positive.

We love to do coffee and can we talk ... we sat up till 4 in the morning the last time!
