Today is December 1st and for the first time in many years I am getting really excited ... for I am being treated to a special Christmas.
In a few weeks I shall be flying south to the cooler part of Queensland for a holiday like I have never had before.
The butterflies of excitement have started and I feel like a teenager.
I shall be within the magical rainforest of the Gold Coast hinterland with streams, waterfalls, parrots and tranquility.
My girls are also having time away with their partners but we shall all be home for New Year ... I think 2009 is going to be a good one.

Thank you all for your friendship in 2008 ... I am smiling, at peace and happy .. and that was all that I wished for twelve months ago.
