Today was a biggie for me .. June 30th .. end of Financial Year.
Does anyone else out there have the same pressure as me on this one date of the year?
Well it is now after 8pm and I am FINALLY chilling .... sipping a vodka to numb my mind. Perhaps I will sleep tonight knowing I have done ALL of those last minute transactions and software upgrades.
Oh lord .. grant me one wish please? Can I have a smidgeon of tonight's $90 million lotto draw? Please?

Jett is my 5 yr old grandson and I know everyone is biased with their own .. but today I am feeling that little bit more proud of him.
Jett is in Prep and attends a fantastic little school nestled against the rainforest that overlooks the ocean. It isn't a huge school and that is what makes it so special.
And so today I have received a copy of the school letter in which Jett was pictured receiving an award presented by his piers.
This is part of what they said on his presentation and published ...
This student is reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and always willing to share.
This student is "dinky di true blue" to all his friends - a great mate of everyone.
This student has the potential to become one of the leaders of our school in future years.
And believe it or not .. he is only five years old.
I'd like to introduce this student ... Master Jett Mark Biggs
I am just so proud of our little man .. because he seriously IS true blue. He is an outdoor kid who loves going fishing and camping with his Dad ... has so much patience with his little 15mth old brother who he is forever taking for rides on the four wheeler with a watchful eye for his safety always ... AND because he IS such a level headed and caring little boy.
Yep .. I know .. I 'm a bragging nanny!
This is Jett on his recent 5th Birthday with chocolate cake plastered all over his face and wearing his beloved "Penrith Panthers" shirt ...because Coops (Tenille's partner) plays Agrade footie for them in Sydney.
For all of you who have asked about my friend Fran after her brain surgery ..
Now 6 weeks after her life changing surgery .. Fran today surprised me. I had been to the gym and on my arrival home found them sitting patiently on my patio (they knew I wasn't too far away for I left the doors open). Ken (Fran's hubbie) decided to drive her the nearly 2000klms back to her home town to her family and friends ... so we could share in the excitement with this now electronically wired brain.
Her horseshoe scars are now quite faint, her beautiful greying hair is growing and she showed me the 2 controls placed in her chest that they "tweek" every few weeks ... fine tuning I guess you would call it.
She still has a way to go with lots of physio ... they have said to give it 18 months before their work is complete .. to get those neck muscles working as they should, after so many years of involuntary spasming and tremors.
Her eyes sparkled with her joy .. welling mine with tears.
But we were such happy little vegemites this morning!
My little project has become the success I hoped for ... I have 5 brand new .. home hatched ... baby fishies ... woohoo! Don't ask me what breed they are ... all I know is they are gold .. and pretty.
