Wishing I could .. but I can't ..

My goddaughter Kelicia (who dances at the Lido) is coming home early December.  She is looking to rent her apartment in Paris whilst she is home to help with her budget .. so if anyone is interested these are the details:-

Where >  Rue Caulaincourt, 75018 Paris
When  >  First 3 weeks of December
Includes > internet, phone, electricity, water and her apartment has a window and lift (which is a rare thing in Paris apparently).
Cost > 750 euros for the 3 weeks

Ahhh .. what a thought .. Cherie in Paris doing her Christmas shopping .. yeh .. now back to reality!

Put a pic of Kel in Paris ... isn't she gorgeous?

To teach someone self taught knowledge is a bit scary .. and it may be very wrong in others eyes .. but  here goes .... I shall simplistically write how I do MY pic uploads:-

1)  Choose your picture on your computer, open it, then go up to the drop down menu and choose "Save As".  For ease of access I save to the desktop BUT when the "Save As" box comes up, you will see at the very bottom there is "Save As Type".  If it does not show .jpeg in that bottom box ... hit the arrow on the right hand side and choose ".jpeg".  Okay .. then for simplicity name it something like "holiday blog".  Hit Save.    Go to the desktop and check that it is there
.
2)  Okay you have your blog written and it is time to include your pic.  See where it says "Upload a photo".  Hit that Browse button and up pops a box to tell the computer where you pic is stored.  On the left hand side, choose Desktop, then find that pic you saved there with it's special name.  Double click on the pic.
You will see words written in the box beside Browse of where the file you choose is to be found .. eg c:\ desktop \ holiday blog

3)  Now the important thing is to hit the Save and Publish button at the bottom of the blog writing page. Double click that .. wait a little while and voila!! ..  up pops your pic.

4)  At any stage you can clean the pics off of your desktop by right clicking it and go down to Delete in the little menu.

You can go back to previous blogs .. by going to that "Edit Previous" tab ... choose your blog to edit and download that pic if you want.

Good luck Deva and John .. this works for me .. fingers crossed it shall for you.

Have a beaut day everyone!!

Dustin took his first trip out with his Dad in the dinghy this weekend .. going out to check the crab pots in the river.

Our town is situated on the junction of two major rivers and there is an abundance of life ... including those beady eyed crocs.

The look on Dustin's face says it all ... he was taking in every second of this adventure.

We are lucky to be able to include crab on our dinner menus.

Hope your weekend was as beautiful (and tasty) as ours.

The Sydney City to Surf is the worlds largest timed fun run and one of the largest cause-related community events in Australia raising over one million dollars for charity ...

And ...

this year Tenille ran the 14klms and I am a very proud Mum.

No .. she didn't get anywhere .. but she did it in style.

Next month she intends on doing a half marathon ... a little concerned about that one.

(I pinched the pic off the official website ... naughty hey)

Wish I had a smidgeon of her energy.
