Hello Friends,

Oth cam in chat the other day and gave out some very interesting information.

For those of you who missed out I want to share it with you.

It seems that if you want to know what is being said in any of the chat rooms all you have to do is type /back and text from the last chat appears on your screen. Oth suggested typing /back 50 but just / back works.

When I do this in the main room it takes several minutes for the text to come up. And when I did this I was disconnected from the room, it looks as if I am there but I can not chat or move from room to room. I have to leave and then come back.

I want to warn those of you who may take comfort in chatting in the Hallway and the Foyer that any one can go in after you leave and type /back and see your entire conversation.  So NOTHING is private except the /query or the invite and with the invite it is a good idea to make sure you have clicked on the correct name. Query says at the top who you are chatting with so there is no mistake.

I felt this was important to pass on. I would not want to be embarrassed nor do I want any of my friends here to suffer any consequences. Unfortunately there are some who would take this information and use it to embarrass or hurt someone.

See you in chat!

Hugs and good wishes

Omg!!  Where has everyone gone in the morning?

I had to resort to cleaning out my closet this morning.  Please don’t make me get started on cleaning my knick- knacks and collection of coffee mugs!!

As most of you know our dog had eight puppies Oct. 26th and they are doing great.  They grow so fast, it is amazing.  They are not at all cooperative when it comes to trying to take a good picture; well I am sure it has to do with the human at the other end of the camera. I am trying to get some worth posting.

Hope this finds all my friends doing well. Hope to see you in chat SOON!! The house is clean enough!!

Hugs and good wishes to everyone!

Today I was going through the classroom posters and such that I used to decorate my classroom when I was teaching. I didn’t realize how extremely sad it would make me.

I was flooded with memories of creating a classroom that intrigued and inspired children. One good poster would remind a student about something, or get two children in a discussion about what they were looking at or even introduce them to something unknown.  I loved my job; it never felt like a job.

I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself. And that doesn’t do anyone any good.

Instead of being sad, I want to be happy for the years I did teach and for all the children that touched my life in numerous ways.

I think it is time to donate these things to a new teacher just getting a foot in the door. When I first started a kind co-worker gave me her things when she retired.  I am hoping this will take away the sadness. And in a sense I will still be conjuring up conversation, memoires and new thoughts to children.

Take time to be kind and best wishes ….
