Welcome to Joyous's blog!
5 Aug 2008 8:40 PM
I am reluctant to admit here just how dense I have become, but just in case it may keep someone else from the same mistake, I lay bare my folly.
I have a paypal account because I now and then sell on ebay. I have long been aware that I should NEVER click on an email to enter paypal, yet in my dotage, I fell prey to a scam artist or spoofer. I did indeed click on a paypal email concerning my account and entered my password. Thankfully my daughter is also privvy to my account info and told me what I had done. I was able to change the information before any harm was done and there was no money in the paypal account, so all is well thus far. I know the rest of the overfifties members are too wise to suffer a lapse such as I did, but a word to the wise.
Oh, I feel like such a doofus!!!!
Now I shall go about my day berating myself bitterly for becomming senile at such a youthful age.
(Laughing)
Have a wonderful day!
