I had intended to put an end to the dispute between Miss Goody-Two-Shoes and me with my apology. I didn't really think I owed her one, but I did it for the sake of peace and for the good of the site. However, Anna's fictions and over-dramatization in her comment on Winnerx3's latest blog forces me to continue to defend myself. It all started on Dec. 2nd. with an email to me from Anna, which read as follows:

"...hi baby *wink*, can you pweeze do me a wittle favor? pweety pweeze?*wink**wink* I just emailed Admin from their "corporate link" a the bottom of the overfifties homepage that said...

...In the Discussions/General Topics Group2/"I Am Tryng to Post a Thread" an overfifties member named Jasmine has posted, what appears to me to be, a link of al-Queda propaganda. It even says "al-Queda links" in the web address...

...So, Sweetie, lovey, puppyface, if you are in agreement that this is inappropriate then could you also alert Admin since you are a paid member and will get better results? If you are not in agreement and believe it should remain please let me know your thinking on that. Thank you *wink**wink*

That is an exact copy, spelling, punctuation, capitals, everything.

My reply was:

"Darling, I am in agreement with you that anyting to do with Al Qaida is bad, but I'm pushed for time this morning. Why not see what it leads to? I can't see how it can cause any harm. Loe, Bill xxxxx

Then a bit later I wrote a second email:

"Anna, Darling, I clicked on that link,  had a quick read, and decided that it's a perfectly acceptable contribution to the debate. Have a look for yourself! Love, Bill xxxxx

Anna's reply was:

"okay...no problem...you're right...as usual*S*...xoxo
