Welcome to anna7's blog!

...my heart is heavy, my tears flow, my stomach quesy, as i am missing a gentle, kind, and faithful friend. I knew Joe (aka "watcher") for a year and a half. He left this life today, March 25.
...he had enough pain of his own to bear and yet selflessly listened. He was a good listener...quiet, yet spoke when he had something to say. When he spoke it left a warm and loving impression on your heart. I always admired him for that.
...Joe stepped in to comfort me at times when it meant the most...such as when a handful of members tried to do me harm with gossip. He provided the necessary proof of authenticity for my paintings needed when Tal-Lou (aka Talula, RubyRed, Portvalelady, etc) tried to make everyone think they were fakes (i had sent joe a donation check to help him start his website and he compared the signature from the check with my signature on my paintings).. That brought an end to it. Joe repeatedly encouraged me to allow him to repost the images on his website. He kept them all in his file. One time my hard drive died and all my copies on there, of my paintings, were gone. Some of the paintings i had sold so i had no other copies. But Joe had them still in his files and sent them to me. You have no idea how much that meant to me.
Joe told me, "i believe in you...you have always held a special place in my heart". Those were his last words to me. I know many held a special place in his heart...he had a big heart.
...a true friend.

Yes Anna...he was the one who had been holding our hands together.
We will miss him....he was special friend..one whom we can run to
when we need a shoulder to lean on..
He was in pain...terrible pain...was screaming in his sleep few hours before he passed on.
My heart is heavy too..and he will always be in my heart...
Take care...Anna...(((hugs)))

Ohhh Annna
I shall never ever be able to express the comfort this man gave me
He was a friend ... no ... more than just a friend .. he shall always be in my heart for as long as i breathe .. he made me a survivor and gave me such strength .. but i have a long way to go and I dont know how i am going to do it without him.
God Anna ... why has he been taken away from us? Why?

Joe will live on in your heart. Such a friend as we all should be.

Joe made us a chatroom family
and he was the head of it.
he continued to give right to
the end a true and loyal friend

I have read each blog about this special man, and my only wish is that I had had the privelage of getting to know him. This is my first experiance of anybody passing over who I have talked to on the PC, and it is just the same as loosing someone u know from down the road. I am glad u had those last words with him, u have those words to cherish for life. Again, I am thinking of everybody left behind and coping with this. All my luv, JJ xx

Peace and contentment I would pray for all of you. I certainly missed out on a nice soul....My loss for sure. May God's grace cover you all and his family as well in their time of loss.
I feel the "Watcher" will continue to watch. Blessings to all and take care Anna.........contact me if you need to, anyone.....

I never knew of Joe but reading the memories of him, I think I missed out on knowing a truly good, gentle man. I am so sorry the pain was so bad for him - take care all of you missing him so much. Love Cathrynn XX
ps Anna - I am only in blogs, not in chat - and dont know about your paintings? I would love to..:)

Hi, I am here, so I'll go here first. Have been concerned about you. I hope you are ok. This is a sad blog and I know/am sure it has affected you deeply. I am concerned about you and miss your wit on this site. Wish you'd come back a while. Ynot is back on. I even got Heathen to make an apperance or two. Carboot makes a couple more blogs than usual, come on. I know the usual ************** people who tried to intimidate you to start with are still here. Hard to kill a virus..but what are you gonna do. You just go with it, forgive and try to move on.
I sincerly hope you are doing ok and maybe just working or busy and not in the depths of depression. Tell me you are painting or doing something creative.....ok, let you go for now, just wanted to put a message out there while I was fooling around on 50's. You take care of yourself.....

....thank you all, my friends, for your kind thoughts. They mean so much to me.
...jasguy, regarding "how do i post a photo to my blog?"...first you need to take your own photo or right click on a "royalty free" photo online, click on save, and choose a folder or save it to your desktop. Then, when you go to overfifties to do your blog then follow these steps to add a photo to your blog:
1) Go to "Blogs New" on you personal homepage and create your blog (as you have done quite well with twice i see). If you want to add a photo to a previous blog then click on "Edit Previous" and scroll down to the blog
2) Scroll down to "Upload Photo"
3) Click "Browse"
4) Find your photo that you saved and highlight it by clicking once on it
5) Click "Open"
6) Click on "Save & Publish"
...i hope this helps!
