For Every Thing There is a Season
To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven....
A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest
A time to break down and a time to build up;
A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away;
A time to tear and a time to repair, a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
A time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes3:1-8
It's a different season for everyone at a given moment i suppose but personally, i feel like it's a time to laugh, a time to embrace, and a time to dance.

YNOT & SWEETCHERRY...now here is a perfect example of battling duos who
couldn't have been more endearing & funny! They were the "Stiller & Meara" of
Overfifties! ...the "Will & Grace", "Burns & Allen", "Sonny & Cher", "Jackie
Gleason & Audrey Meadows", "Lucy & Ricky" . Ynot & SweetCherry were purely
delightful entertainment! I know the hilarity was for but a season as it can't go
on forever just as it didn't with all the other duos i have mentioned but WE LOVE
YOU GUYS! Our memory of the fun will never fade! It took a good sense of humor
and a short while to realize that the barbs were all in fun and that the sharper
they got the more it showed their deep friendship for one another. It got quite
ugly at times...lol... but you knew they adored & respected each other all the
while. I miss you two! Come back but this time don't be funny because our
aching sides can't take anymore...lol....time for others to entertain you all so sit
back and take it all in. It's YOUR turn to be the audience......smiles, anna
I'm not familiar with "husband & wife comedy teams" "or "friendship comedy teams" from other countries. If you think of any duos like this in your own countries then do feel free to share! The Smothers Brothers was another team here in America...so funny. There are probably others here in America i have forgotten...where is SleepySam when i NEED him!

Thank you, Joe, for this support regarding my paintings....anna
Posted by watcher on 11 Jun 2007 6:25 AM on "Reconciliation" blog
i swore i was not going to get involved in this. but i can't hold it in anymore as i believe anna doesn't deserve this hurtfulness that she has endured over these paintings. I know they are hers ,I have checked the signatures as i still have all of them on file.
Im not taking sides ,just saying what i know to be the truth
thank you

One morning, the husband returns the boat to their lakeside cottage
after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar
with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short
distance, anchors, puts her feet up, and begins to read her book. The peace and
solitude are magnificent.
Along comes a Fish & Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the
woman and says, "Good morning, ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book", she replies (thinking "isn't that obvious?).
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area", he informs her.
"I'm sorry Officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading".
"Yes. But I see you have all the equipment. For all I know, you could
start at any moment. I'll have to write you up."
"If you do that I'll have to charge you with sexual assault", says the woman.
"But I haven't even touched you", says the Game Warden.
"That's true but you have all the equipment. For all I know, you could start at
any moment."
"Have a nice day ma'am"....and he left.

The splendor of the rose and the whitness of the lily do not rob the little violet of its scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its lovliness. ...Emogirl Therese of Lisieux
I once had a rose named after me and I was very flattered. But I was not pleased to read the description in the catalogue: no good in a bed, but fine up against a wall.
Eleanor Roosevelt (American United Nations Diplomat, Humanitarian and First Lady (1933-45), wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US president. 1884-1962)
Beauty without virtue is like a rose without scent. ...Proverb
How did it happen that their lips came together? How does it happen that birds sing, that snow melts, that the rose unfolds, that the dawn whitens behind the stark shapes of trees on the quivering summit of the hill? A kiss, and all was said. ...Victor Hugo (French romantic Poet, Novelist, Dramatist, 1802-1885)
The fragrance always remains in the hand that gives the rose....anonymous
Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness, know that, like life, things sometimes must fade, before they can bloom again.
Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk. ...Jack Handy (American Writer and cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1991-2003. Famous for his Deep Thoughts comedy sketches.)
Footfalls echo in the memory, Down the passage which we did not take, Towards the door we never opened Into the rose-garden.
T.S. Eliot quotes (American born English Editor, Playwright, Poet and Critic, 1888-1965)
Love would never be a promise of a rose garden unless it is showered with light of faith, water of sincerity and air of passion.....anonymous
There is nothing more difficult for a truly creative painter than to paint a rose, because before he can do so he has first to forget all the roses that were ever painted. ... Henri Matisse (Artist and French Painter 1869-1954)
LIFE is a mosaic of pleasure and pain - grief is an interval between two moments of joy. Peace is the interlude between two wars. You have no rose without a thorn; the diligent picker will avoid the pricks and gather the flower. There is no bee without the sting; cleverness consists in gathering the honey nevertheless....Sri Sathya Sai Baba (Indian Spiritual leader, b.1926)
The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious to the rose...Kahlil Gibran (Essayist, Novelist, Poet. 1883-1931)
Be a rose which gives fragrance even to those who crush it....Cody
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.
Dale Carnegie quotes (American lecturer, author, 1888-1955)
Why is it no one ever sent me yet one perfect limousine, do you suppose? Ah no, it's always just my luck to get one perfect rose.
Dorothy Parker (American short-story Writer and Poet, 1893-1967)
I see a lilly on thy brow, / With anguish moist and fever dew; / And on thy cheek a fading rose / Fast withereth too. I met a lady in the meads / Full beautiful, a faery's child; / Her hair was long, her foot was light, / And her eyes were wild.
John Keats quotes (English Romantic Poet. 1795-1821)
Slow buds the pink dawn like a rose From out night's gray and cloudy sheath; Softly and still it grows and grows, Petal by petal, leaf by leaf....Susan Coolidge
