a visit to the old wool town of Lavenham,, in the County of Suffolk .with a friend , was like a step in to the past , with the church of St Peters, with its high hammer beam angel roof ,and stained glass widows ,, sitting on a hill overlooking the town that has hardly changed from medieval times ..the town made up of of mainly half framed Tudor buildings old pubs, antique shops and tea rooms . is a modern day tourist trap , the wealth of the town being generated around the 14 /16 th century with weaving ..but none the less it is a grate look in to the past ..

hi ,, the lock is on the Bournend / Marlow Rd out of Maidenhead ,,the photo is overlooking Marlow at sunset , from high ground, looking out across the vally towards Oxford <and you vonneie > the Bull Inn at Bisham is down there somewhere in the dark ,, been there a few times in the distant past ,,,lol

When the weather is fine then you know it's a sign
For messing about on the river.
If you take my advice there's nothing so nice
As messing about on the river.
There are long boats and short boats and all kinds of craft,
And cruisers and keel boats and some with no draught.
So take off your coat and hop in a boat
Go messing about on the river.

hi ,, your garden sounds grate , if you want to see a real good one check out Thumpers.. it would be nice to see your garden though , so post a pic if you can,,,,car
