i appreciate the people saying happy veterans day, the goverment has given us a veterans day to make the veterans feel like they are appreciated, so the world of civilians can make the vet feel important all the time putting across the impression that the goverment feels that way too.i have had and still do have many things wrong with me cause from my contribution in the viet nam conflict, every year each one getting a bit more severe, and yet still have had to fight and argue with the Veterans adminstration for benifits due me. I first started asking for benifits in 1971 for agent orange exposure,,the VA was at that time still denying any wrong doing with the chemical, not really caring about the vet and his offspring and the effects that the deadly chemical had on them. i am a combat veteran, and have and still have many issues that have pretty much ruled the last thirty years of my life, and in a negative way, not just effecting me, but my entire family and everyone around me, and yet untill this year i have had no help or support from the va on awarding me benifits for my injuries, whether mental or physical. They gave me a very low percentage of disability so guess for the rest of my time i will be trying to get them to award me a decent amount to at least since they managed to avoid giving it to me for the last thirty years.. Oh well, i'm a n unhappy vet, like most vets i know. I'm sure i will get feedback on this blog from some real patriots about my negative attitude toward the VA system, and thats ok, not everyone feels the same, i just wanted to let the people know that don't know how the VA really treats the war time vet, in my opinion just as bad as the people treated us when we came home from nam. To me its kind of like putting flowers on someones grave site after they've passed on, why not do it whild they are alive and can enjoy them. i guess i better stop, starting to get worked up. oh well, just wanted to state my opinion

there are alot of people that come and go in chatrooms. Some are married some are not, and some don't say one way or the other.
there are many reasons why one might want to come to a chat room. Some come to the room to sit and listen and just keep quite, now why would they do that, i mean come in and just sit there and not talk to anyone, well, there can be more than one reason for that too, one could just like to be in a room full of people to sit and listen to see how things work in a chatroom, or to see what strangers talk about, or they could even be lonely in their real life. I was recently asked in the room what is the reason that a married person would come into a chat room. Well i could only answer that for myself, and that question could have more than one answer. Once i get to know someone it is easier for me to talk and it really doesn't take long to feel at ease enough to try and get aquainted with the people there. I said i came in to meet people and chat, and possibly make new friends, and even married people can get lonely, even people that have been married for the longest time. I suffer from time to time, most of the time actually until i started taking my meds again, from depression, sometimes very severe, and believe it or not the people i have met in the room help me alot when i'm feeling down. It is very easy to get attached to people in a chat room if you talk to them and see them most every day, and actually become very close friends. This chat room is probably the most fun one that i've been in, and that alone is reason enough for me to come in. Almost all of the people i have met always welcome me back in and seem to be happy to see me when i'm there, sometimes that is reason enough for me to come back, everyone likes to feel like they are liked and enjoyed, and the people in this room have always made me feel like that. I can't begin to list all the reasons a married person comes to a chat room, but for me, it is the people mostly i guess and the way they make me feel welcome. This is another lame one from me, but i thought i would try and answer that question for the lady that ask me about it. And it's pretty amazing how much so many people can have in common.

i sure appreciate all the comments to my latest blog. as soon as i wrote it and gave it a read i thought for sure that i would get some comments about what i said about women being better at some things then men are, using a nasty chore as an example, thank you ladies for not being too hard on me. That was a poor try at humor i guess. I personally have more respect for women than i do for most of the men i meet. And i do as much as i can to show that respect. Although i do draw the line at messing with dirty diapers and messy pants, i sure had my share of helping with it on my own kids, just not going to get in on it with any of the grand kids, smiles. i apoligize if i gave anyone the impression that i thought that the women folk were better suited for the nasty chores than the men were, i really didn't mean it the way it came out, although i never have seen a woman gag when changing a dirty diaper, oh well i think i'll just shut up before i get this hole i'm getting myself in any deeper, haha

good morning everyone, well, it's morning here anyhow. My daughter and her two kids stayed the night with us last night, my granddaughter is three and grandson is five. I slept on the couch and let my daughter sleep in the bed so i wouldn't have to sleep with the two kiddies, guess i just don't like being kicked and scratched and gored all night long, smiles, well you all know how it is sleeping with grandbabies, thats just another one of those things that women do better, haha. well, anyway my grandson woke up at 530am and wanted to watch spongebob so we got that going for him and i was just having my first cup of coffee when  i heard him in the other room say ohhhhh noooooo and he started crying that he had had an accident, so i went to help him out and thought he had pee'd his pants but when i pulled them down they didn't seem wet so i started to pull them back up and stuck my finger in something hot and gooey, yuk, so i had to pick him up and put him in the tub, and i started calling my wife, that too is just another thing that women do better then men, cleaning up a dirty boy, well. at least i got him to the tub. Thinking i had done good getting out of that little chore i started back into the other room when, crap a duck, what did i just step in,,oh s---, literally, so since the wife can olny clean one mess at a time i not only had to shower my foot off but then had to clean off the rug. anyway, not a real good start to the day, but guess it was better for me then it was for him so i shouldn't complain. anyway, he just came up to me and said, hey grandpa, what a beautiful morning it is, haha, if you say so jai deva paul
