For the time I have been working at the Medical Centre I have had nothing but trouble with my Asthma, and also Bronchitis! Thats over approx 3-4 years(?) and in the last week I made an amazing discovery! Tonight confirmed it! In Winter I am fine! But Summer etc I am a mess! So last week I put the air-con on while I was working and guess what? My Asthma is practically non existent! The air con is on in Winter anyway, but not in Summer, until last week! I am just beside myself with happiness!! I can think clearly, not drop dead tired and not totally befuddled in my thinking!!! And now for the opology! I am sorry if I have gone off at anyone over my time on here! Steroids do my head in completely!I think I have,but I don`t remember who or why!Oh! The creeps we get from time to time,yes! I mean`t that! But anyone else,no! Not intended! When I am on steroids I get paranoid and agro and I can`t do a dam thing about it! It is`nt the real me at all!Also depressed and anxious. These are known side effects of steroids and I was on them for years when I was seeing my previous Doctor,but thats another story!I suffer from and am treated for depression and anxiety anyway,but the steroids counteract the meds for those conditions and I am a argument looking for a place to happen! Or crying all over the place!My cat must sense something as she will just fly at me with teeth and claws! Think it is my wheezing with Asthma and she thinks I am hissing at her!This is why I can relate to and empathise with what Winner is going through right now,as she has been on Prednisone and experiencing all I said above!So, please forgive me and also give Winner another chance, as I do understand what she has been through, and if she is like me,she feels sick if she realises she has been agro or negative to anyone!Its not us! Its the Prednisone!!!!! Evil stuff,but vital for breathing! Any Nurses here will know what I am saying is right,I am sure! So, please be aware as Anna has said, that some meds have adverse side effects,and I can vouch for that! I call my bad me "The Steroid Monster"! Can`t do a dam thing about it either! So, I am sorry to anyone I have been mean to. It is`nt how I really feel I assure you! Please forgive me,and also winner too? I am not a friend of winners and have`nt paid much attention to her until all this came up, but I sure can understand now whats been going on with her,  only too well!
