I Live in the sunny Okanagan BC Canada ,was widowed a couple of years ago

I have many hobbies (jewellery,woodwork,metalwork)

This was how the man described himself - in few words, as was his want.



Today, a hole has developed in each of our hearts , because this kind & gentle soul has left us, now  free from constant pain.

What do we know of him? Just a set of characters coming onto our screen?
No - that is simply a tool to allow us into his life - the life of a close, kind man
who none could say they disliked, indeed the shock at this news has made
many admit they loved him.

Pain seemed to be his constant companion, the result of an accident which was fortunately recently compensated, which allowed him to travel to Rome & Cuba;
his expressed intention was the Southern States to seek out all the pretty ladies - ever his delight - did he get YOUR photo? He also had rescheduled plans to visit Australia with his daughter this year - what a Dad!

Many are aware of his alternate "Nest", & the evidence of his efforts was obvious in the number of disbelieving "family' who flocked to hope what they'd read was untrue.

So farewell my friend - who will ask "how's the farm?" now?

We all have fond - & never unpleasant memories of this selfless man -
                        add them or retain them
