Well as evryone who knows me from chat you will all know the probs ive had with an old home PC and have been lucky enuff to have been loaned a laptop by my boss.Well that came to an end and i was back to my old GIRL--today i decided to go look for a new laptop--well bugga me i now have one--YIPPEE__so i thort--And that part of the story i will finish with.On top of that hubby wanted us to lookl for a new car-so off we went and after some dispute we found one to test drive over night!!!!Off we set with the mighty red yummy car to try out over night===wot say we end the day with a wee check in at the casino==I commented that WOULDNT IT BE A HOOT IF we were to go in there and WIN the car===WELL FOLKS---this is a true story==we had been there an hour when the siren went off--i was not even on a machine--but low and behold==hubby was and i soon found he had won THE CAR===YES++you may have herd my screams world wide==neither of our kids could be contacted right away,so we couldn"T give em the good news==we have had the most amazing day/night and oh the hugs from so many strangers--we have finally caught up with both our kids who of course are both over the moon==Anyhow i could not wait to unpack--MY new toy--so i had all the bits out and laptop ready to plug in and chat with you all==but oh no==it does not come with a phone jackpoint==jeez, why dont they tell you these things==so now I have to wait til we make another trip back to the city to get a jackpoint and to decide if we want to keep the testdrive car--or use the money form the $34,000, that we opted to take rather than the new car!!==This sure has come at wot has been avery difficult time health and work wise==just had to shar with you all and look forward so much to chat once i get the phone line sorted===SMILES

WEll gidday folks==im writing this as i can't move far right now==I was lucky, along with my lovely boss to be invited to a local annual MARAI breakfast. ==For those who have no idea wot a Marai is, it is a place where our Maoris meet for special occasions, foe example weddings and funerals and other such festivals. They are quite sacred and it is quite rare for us pakeha( white person) to get to go onto a MARAI.===
Anyhow just to let you know wot was on this breakfast menu: cereal, fruit, yoghurt,==toast, fryed maori bred, sausages, bacon, mushrooms in cream sauce, seafood in cream sauce==spaghetti, mashed potato, pancakes,==boliup==this is pork bones and puha( puha is like a kinda small spinach==maybe ORACLE can describe it better lol==it is all boiled together and is a favourite of most maoris==along with the pancakes and fried bread u could have golden syrup or jam==also fruit juice and coffee and tea==You could just help yourself to wot ever you wanted==un fortunately i went back for second of mushrooms on toast==WOT a fool I was==im suffering big time with bloat and aching shoulder!!thank goodness for reclining seats in cars!! one of the speakers greeted us in full maori and then played his guitar and sang a song his wife had written--to thank the cooks==it was very moving to hear him --A more traditonal way to eat ==Maori style is called a HANGI==pronounced ==HUNG EE==this is where food is cooked on hot stones under ground--it usually takes a day to cook a good hangi and the ones ive been privaleged to eat have been fabulous--the food tastes smokey from the flavour of wood shavings used in the cooking process. Im hoping that this has given some of you yet another insight into yet another New Zeakand cultural activity. .. For those of you who have not ever seen our Native KIWI bird you can now google KIWI HOUSE--this is a new website which shows you not only the kwi but it is also my local town==im now off to try and walk this all off, Have great day-- From Rooty

well ive been told its a good cure for all ills--so after being kinda forced into it i thort, why the heck i have nothin to loose. So up the long foot path i climbed--towing my presious bundle-=I see a cloud over head--yippee i might be let off the hook--I was sure that little man above was there to save me--how wrong couild i have been--he was only tricking--dont be a lazy devil rooty--get on with it--enjoy it-give it a go-you look like a champ--see--i knew u could do it--cold and wet and miserable--but with a smile on the dial i came away feelin pretty darned pleezed with myself--YES==ive got this sussed--just you wait til next time==i"l be wingin my way to the prize table..How wrong could i have been--c*ckY , i'd call it.==Beaut afternoon--couldnt be better--straight down the first fairway--oops no way--just slightly over to the left and under the nearest tree==how the heck do i get out of here--short of talking sweetly to the passing Rabbit==there she goes--why on earth wasnt that shot the first one==came close to the green==hang on this should be a doddle--oh no-ball shoots right off the green--5 putts later that ruddy little ball went in its little hole. Sorry folks, but it was alll down hill from here on--cept for the very last hole--if my 2 putts into the last hole had been the same all game i would for sure be up there with Tiger Woods!! My verdict after 3 games of golf is that although the excersize must be doing some good--i sure as heck dont think this is anything like it is cracked up to be===but im sure it had something to do with the ball size and of course the clubs were way too short****
