I hope everyone enjoys these little sayings!!!

Woman is a miracle of divine contradictions. - Jules Michelet

I married beneath me - all women do. - Nancy Astor

Curve: The loveliest distance between two points. - Mae West

The angel of the Family is Woman. Mother, wife, or sister, Woman is the caress of life, the soothing sweetness of affection shed over its toils, a reflection for the individual of the loving providence which watches over Humanity. In her there is treasure enough of consoling tenderness to allay every pain. Moreover for every one of us she is the initiator of the future. The mother's first kiss teaches the child love; the first holy kiss of the woman he loves teaches man hope and faith in life; and love and faith create a desire for perfection and the power of reaching towards it step by step; create the future, in short, of which the living symbol is the child, link between us and the generations to come. Through her the Family, with its divine mystery of reproduction, points to Eternity. - Giuseppe Mazzini

Biologically speaking, if something bites you, it is more likely to be female. Desmond Morris

God made woman beautiful and foolish; beautiful, that man might love her; and foolish, that she might love him. Anonymous

Eve was not taken out of Adam's head to top him, neither out of his feet to be trampled on by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected by him, and near his heart to be loved by him. Matthew Henry

If women didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no meaning. Aristotle Onassis

The great question that has never been answered and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is "What does a woman want?" Sigmund Freud

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,Men were deceivers ever,-One foot in sea and one on shore,To one thing constant never. William Shakespeare

Much Ado About Nothing Frailty, thy name is woman! William Shakespeare

Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men.Joseph Conrad

The practice of putting women on pedestals began to die out when it was discovered that they could give orders better from there. Betty Grable

There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.Washington Irving

There are more, but I'll save those for another day. :)

Thumpie,  I hope you enjoyed my "Quotes of the Day"!!!

Well Fred, as usual, you have taken sometime meant to remind people about strength and courage, and turned into something else!

You truly "MISSED" the point of my blog,  now it seems that by my, "our" showing compassion for one little koala, we are heartless and feel or care nothing for other creatures!  Fred, mi amigo,  you are the one that needs a lesson in "compassion" and "forgiving" of your fellow woman (man)!!!

I always wonder what makes a person so "bitter" towards others, what has happen to make them this way!!  Oh I am sure I will get an ear full of your "life lessons", but please posted them on your own blog....

Yes the world is not a perfect place, bad things happen, but as a whole, people do have a kind and loving heart!!  You seem to harper on the same "stuff", will that change what has happened, NO!

Fred,  please, don't "bundle" me, all of us, into a neat little package for you to spew your so called "intelligence" upon,  we all have your "number", and want to block your calls LOL

Fred, you are still an interesting character, but please enough, and not on my blogs, and for the record, I have three little dogs, I have had an assortment, of rabbits, fish, hamsters and a mouse, and all were loved!!  Sorry, not cats, as my oldest had asthma!

Enough,    Sweets

Fred, please don't use my blog for your own personal agenda!  I only say what I feel, and this little creature showed more strength and courage  than a lot of humans do!!!  How can she not touch your heart?

My blog is not your "forum" Fred, it is my personal page, if you must discuss negative things, post a BLOG!!!!!!!!

Have a good day.... Sweets

I wanted, no more like felt the need, to say how a small little koala by the name of "Sam", touch so many, not only in Australia, but all over the world!!!  This tiny little 4 year showed everyone the true meaning of the word "fight" to survive!!!

For those that don't know about Sam, here is a little about this little Lady!

As fires raged, Sam was gingerly making her way on scorched paws past a fire patrol north of Melbourne when one ofthe firefighters spotted her. The firefighter was photographed holding a bottle of water to her lips, an image that resonated around the world.

Sam passed away today during surgery, apparently the disease she had was  found to be so advanced that it was inoperable and Sam had to be euthanized.

Rest in peace little one!!!!  Sweets
