Hello, this was my oldest's daughter birthday week, and is our "tradition", we both take the week off.   

Last year we went to Cape Cod, but this year we decided to stay in the area.

We spent one wonderful day in New York City, and went to see the Broadway play, "Chicago".  It was a great play, loved the music and for those that enjoy watching "Dancing With The Stars", the lead was played by Samatha Harris!!  The weather had threaten to downpour all day, but it seemed the "Rain Gods", decided to wait until we were in the theater before the downpour started, LOL 

After the play, we had dinner at Langan's Resturant, then walked to the Port Authority and went home.  It was a wonderful day, and for me, the memories of sharing a beautiful day with my daughter, priceless!!!

So, I want to share a picture of the "life" in New York City!

I have not posted anything lately, not because I have nothing to say, I have lots to say LOL, but because my life has become a frenzy of beads, felt, hair clips, and color, lots of color. 

My daughters, Melissa and Rachel, have opened a shop online where they sell their handmade jewelry, all kinds of jewelry, hair clips, headbands, and other lovely things, and now they have "employed" their Mom to crochet scarfs, mmm, I neglected to ask if I am getting paid for this, oh well lol.

The amazing part was this past Saturday, as I was sitting in Melissa's living room watching my two daughters talking about their craft and their future, that I realized, just how remarkable these two young ladies are!!  Not afraid to face the uncertainty of this economy, they are moving forward with hope and perseverance!  Their first real test is this weekend, 7/18/09, where they will actually become a vendor at a craft fair in Medford, NJ, there will be a lot of "competition", but I have every faith they will do wonderful! 

Yes,  I know every parent feels this way about their children, but well, these two young ladies happen to be mine, so I ask if you will, to just send out good wishes for my girls and their endeavor!!!

Well by now you are well aware of my little "grandkids" Maizey and Olive. LOL 

This is about Little Olive, the black haired one, who happens to be a die hard Star Wars fan, as you can see by the picture. LOL  When my daughter Melissa, her Mommie, doesn't have her groomed once a month this is what she looks like...an Ewok...a little girl Ewok!

Because of where Melissa works, she is able to take Ollie to work everyday, she is like a "therapy dog", when ever anyone is having a bad day, they just come into Melissa's office to play with Ollie LOL.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this little cutie "Ewok"...

There was a Psychology student on the Discussion board asking for "volunteers" who had cheated on their significant other to contact her for her thesis, but I remember reading an great article on this not too long ago....here is what I remember reading.

People who cheat are looking for something that will never be found!

Much research has been done on the subject, and the findings are amazing, they have actually pinpointed the part of the brain , now I am talking about men, since they were the study group, that makes men cheat! The study goes on to suggest that with electro shock and surgery, this part of the brain could be changed. The only drawback was that now he was a she!! So as you can see, this study fell to the wayside and was never actually tested on humans, all I can say is poor "rats"...

Ok, who wants to do a thesis?  Volunteers...

Here is Maizey's sister, Olive, I had her "Mommy" send me a picture of her too, can't have one without the other!  Yes she is fast a sleep on her little toy mouse!
