There are times in our life we just have to go "aha" and smile, and for that moment, all of life's aches and pains, just disappear! So enjoy and have an "aha" moment on me LOL.
This is Maizey and her little stuffed toy she loves!

My friend sent this to me, I hope everyone enjoys it, it made me think about starting to drink LOL
This is interesting! And to paraphrase W.C. Fields,
I don't drink water, because fish poopie in it.
To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
and those who don't.
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
in beer there is freedom,
in water there is bacteria.
In a number of carefully controlled trials,
scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 liter of water each day,
at the end of the year we would have absorbed
more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria
found in feces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..
However,
we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
because alcohol has to go through a purification process
of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
than to drink water and be full of crap.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
I'm doing it as a public service!

I love this Doctor!
Q.I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.
Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain... Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! .... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!
Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
And remember:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"
Well, as you guessed it, I've changed doctors, LOL Sweet50

A very good friend suggested I post this, I hope you like it, it is so profound! Sweet
Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a
battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two
"wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret,
greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Well, I took Friday off to make this into a wonderful 4-day weekend, had lots of plans, but my main one was to get rid of old "stuff", you know the kind that is in boxes that when you open it, you go "OMG, so that's where it went" or "Did I actually wear that"?
I have a full basement, after a "DIV" and with 3 grown kids, two of which have moved out, gone to college, well you get alot of stuff!
So finally made a nice dent in the stuff, brought up alot of stuff to be tossed out, it was a great workout by the way, when one of my daughters, and they all helped me with this clean up, noticed I had more room now, asked, and I knew it was coming, "Hey Mom, now that the basement is cleaned out of the old stuff, can I bring some of my stuff from my apartment over"?
Well, I pondered the question, thinking what do I tell my beautiful daughter, that I really don't want her stuff when I just tossed my old stuff out!!! As she waited for my answer looking at me with those big brown eyes of hers, all I could do was smile and, yep you guessed it, said "Why sure, Melissa, you have a small apartment, and there is room now without the old stuff, you can bring your stuff over".....
So her stuff, which is now neatly in my basement, is just sitting there, along with the other stuff I didn't throw out, till next Memorial Day.
Gee, I wonder what George Carlin did with his stuff??? Just in case you didn't know George did a whole show once about "STUFF" lol
Well I hope you enjoyed my story, will I have to get back to doing more stuff, hope everyone is having a good day!!! Sweet
Remember, don't sweat the small STUFF, it's a basement full of STUFF that gets you LOL
