My grandson says I am energetic
When I perform some silly antic
He thinks I am totally unique
I bet God gave me a little 'tweak'

My granddaughter says I'm funny
A little serious, but mostly sunny
She likes it when I buy her snacks
And smiles as she checks the sacks

My grandkids truly made my week
I thank God for that special 'tweak'
I'll cherish 'special' thoughts of me
It is amazing what little eyes see

This is a wonderful poem and has a wonderful tone and message. I think that it could have been a very diferent one--an one that sounds a Warning to the grown ups about the awesome Negative influences they can have on young impressionable minds based on what the young one see, and often is repeated and imitated in their own lives. But that is another subject for another poem.

This one is Grand--I am glad I took the time to read it.

Bless You!
David
