So I recently saw a trailer for a film about senior citizen hip-hop dancers called 'Gotta Dance'. And I started thinking about 'how old is too old?'

The people in this film are certainly older folk- although they're more adventurous than most 20-somethings I know. I don't know that I would have the courage to audition for a dance team, especially a hip-hop dance team. But maybe I would feel younger if I did do things like audition for a hip-hop dance team.

Anyway, if you want to check out the trailer, it's viewable on the film's website www.gottadancethemovie.com.

Watch it and let me know if you would audition?

I noticed that all the people were having fun, for that alone it would be something worth trying. If I had any dancing ability at all I'd give it a shot.

Something gets lost when the music enters my ears & trys to get to my feet. Don't know what happens but it ain't pretty.

Course you can dear Bob .. no set rules .. I think anyone can move to music .. just close your eyes ...allow it to run through your veins .. before you know it your feet are moving and you heart is in sync with the beat. You don't need a partner to dance ... I don't.
Why don't you try it .. before you know it you are smiling and on a high.

There's actually a guy on the Gotta Dance team who was bet by his two sons to try out for the team. He claims he doesn't have any rhythm or talent... but there he is on the team and he is now even in the movie.
