Hi Cat, Snowden, Joyous, Shar, and all my friends who joined me on the 2002 Isle of Twilight. Been thinking, giving myself a couple of months to get used to this new discussion board, who say's that we organise a summer Twilight Cruise this year going through europe. You can all stay with me in Scotland as we prepare to tour Europe. We'll also need to wait on the weather. What about a May start. this will take us through the European summer. I'll be your guide again. Be helpful if ted was around, couldn't have done it without him last year. LOL

Let's all harrass Ted to get in here and join us! He was a great help and it was so much fun. I'm packing Angelus - actually I have never completely unpacked from my aborted 2000 trip to Jerusalem or the cruise last summer, either one!
Norman, I hope you will join us this year. Pack your imagination in a ditty bag and come aboard - we have whatever we want or need as we go. It's always there! ;)
May sounds wonderful. You know, last year I was constantly having to helicopter off the ship and back to Georgia because of Gene's knee replacement. We stayed at rehab hospitals so much. One had a computer so I could see what you were doing but didn't have time to send a note. People were waiting in line to use it.!
I've always wanted to visit Scotland. My grandfather (motheres side) was from there. Harry Ross. I do not think he was "landed gentry" LOL because he came to the US at 14 . My grandmother said that accent swept her off her feet.!! Remember Angelus, I planted heather the last couple of years to "get in the mood" for Scotland? Gene says he will buy a horse to ride among the heather. I haven't seen the connection yet so I think he just wants a horse.
What countries will we visit? I need to buy books on any area that we will stay in a while. I guess this group will visit the wine regions?
Blessings & Peace

Shar, what a marvelous thought! Yes, we must visit the wine regions; we can get Scotch on the return trip.
If I came home from Scotland without some single-malt Scotch, my sons would disown me immediately! They love it - and Bob can drink it despite his blood sugar being a problem.
So Gene is coming too? Lovely - I'm leaving Bob home. He hates to fly - don't you dare tell him about the cruise! It does us good occasionally to be apart - I'll helicopter home from time to time to keep him happy. :p No, I'll invite him - just kidding.
If the kids are still here, they can care for Max.
So - Norman, are you coming this year?

Well, what a grand idea it was-only to be aborted by shipwreck. Will the group ever reach Scotland? Will the island they managed to swim to be inhabited by cannibals? Will Ted ever stop swilling down the hooch? Will Joyous cease to be thin-skinned and smelling like a polecat? Tune in tomorrow for the next exciting episode of Shipwrecked on the way to Isle of Twilight. :p
I am getting ready for cruise Joyous..Arkle and Snowden. I suspect it will not get started until shipwreck group has been rescued and I will be home by then and on the faster connection and puter..
Arkle, should I take the hummingbird feeder along?
I want to take a little time and Scotland and visit my grandfathers birthplace.
I guess I was in New Mexico and everyone else seems to be on an island, did Angelus cancel the cruise?

Personally I would like to continue the cruise to Scotland, but our guide is nowhere in sight! He managed to get us shipwrecked on an island and then away he flew! Now I ask you, what type tour guide is that?????
C-mon Angelus, get us back on the ship and off to bonnie Scotland.

Now girls, don't get all upset about Angelus. He's very busy right now I understand, but when the job is less demanding he will get us and we'll head out on still another sea faring adventure with whichever brave souls decide to join us.
Snowden, that is good to know, that Angelus will get back to us soon. I was somewhat like Joyous in that I wondered about us being shipwrecked and no Angelus to even check on us or float a raft full of mosquito repellent.
I need the extra time to work in the yard and get all clothers hung from our trip. I did not buy any clothes but they seemed to have multiplied in the travel cases. I think things in a suitcase.....quietly breeds at night when we are not listening. I also seem to now have 5 hairbrushes and umpteen combs.

Shar, you seem to have the opposite problem than some of us. Usually things disappear from suitcases as opposed to multiplying.
I have read about missing socks and how it happens. One sock hides just inside the dryer door and when to door opens , out hops the sock and away it scoots before the person can see. Have you ever seen a sock lying beside the road? thats where it was hit by a car as it tried to escape. Or perhaps it is resting from it's travels. :D
