I would like to get everyone's opinion on a site my friend showed me. The address is http://www.pleaselearntherules.com and it is a place to send people when they don't use BCC when sending to groups or forward time wasters to your work address..
Here is my delimma: I am thinking it might be a nice way to let people know I don't appreciate them sending my email address out to a bunch of strangers but I don't want to seem too rude. A lot of the people who send me these kinds of emails are just new to using email or the internet.. What do you guys think? Is this kind of response rude?
Thanks!

Very good point netcat. Especially irritating is the chain letter that has been forwarded 100 times with dozens of valid addresses, knowing that yours is next.

Wow, I learned something new, yet again. SOOOO glad you posted. I just sent an email out...forwarded it, because that is the only way I know how to do. It came to me with 15 address' at least, so of course mine is added to go on...simply because it was a really good one.
I need to learn what this BCC is, my daughter is an office management worker and she sends me things with her friends address on the mails....So when she has time I will have her explain. I never liked passing these things on with all the addy's...Thanks again Netcat....
If you wish to forward an email, but don't feel 25 attached addy's is appropriate to accompany it,
hit "forward", then play around with the text,
holding down the left mouse key as you draw across your selection,
Then try highlighting & deleting what you don't wish to be sent.
It matters not if you muck it up - just go back to "inbox" & start again!
You can cut & paste lines into an email in the same way.
Well that's how it works in hotmail!

Yes...if you need to forward...just delete all the names in the email box.....
wow tumble - you said in 1 line that which took me half a dozen!
But that's me I guess - I do prefer to use e.g. "euphonious appellation **"
when a simple ("___ ______" work it out) would do ..........
