Welcome to the forum. Now don't stop posting. Many people seem to join and never post or join and post once. We are all anonymous here so what's to be shy about. I always told my kids when we go to Mass that if they don't sing the hymns and answer the prayers mass will be boring. You are just a stump putting in your hour. You won't want to come back again. So jump in and interact with everyone. You will find all kinds. Ignore the ones you don't take a fancy to and tell the others what's new in your part of the world.
Now, for the rest of you, I was looking through the profiles of men looking for women who say they are looking for romanace. It cracked me up. Admitting they are male is about as much information most wanted to share. A few had pictures. Most didn't. The majority took the default of "I'd rather not say" to the question of married or single and a few actually said they were married. Few wrote an introduction and fewer still would even answer how tall they are....on a sliding scale!!! I'd hate to see their resumes! Not even hair color was noted. Remember, guys, God only made a few perfect heads, the rest he covered with hair!! Bald is so sexy the younger guys are shaving their heads.

Anyway, I found the men so amusing that I looked at the women's profiles. The women are a bit more open and answered more questions. I can understand, especially for women, not feeling secure about posting a picture on line. But crying out loud don't put you're looking for romance and then stand on the wall in the shadows.
There was one guy from Australia with a sense of humor, a picture and not afraid to fill in all the blanks. So all you ladies looking for romance can go hunt down the Aussie.
The profile doesn't ask for your bank account number or your street address so where is the threat? Afraid the wife will see it? Whether you are looking for a friend or romance, whether you are male or female, fill out your profile at least in part. How dull is a profile that says "Interests: Surfing the net" Duh! That's why we are all here!
