1 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup solid veg shortening
1 egg
1 can fruit pie filling (Cherry, Blueberry, Apple, whatever)
No need to sift flour. In small mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking
powder, salt, water, shortening and egg. Blend at lowest speed then beat with a
hand mixer about two minutes.
Spread batter into a 10" deep dish pie pan.
Carefully spoon fruit into the center of the batter DO NOT STIR
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 425 until crust is golden brown. Enjoy
