The human side of real estate - 'Selling a home'
It's a great deal more than just listing a property, advertising
it, finding a buyer, thensigning up and selling the property.* Just
briefly, this is the Human side of purchasing and selling a home.
Maslow's Theory of the hierarchy of needs tells us one of our most basic and fundamental requirements is shelter, which indeed is paramount to our survival.
Our homes mean so much to us, whether you are renting, or indeed
own your own property. That home is the the nucleus of our family life,
and a place where our lives, and all the dramas involved, unfold.
| | The excitement of the purchase of a new home marks the promise of a new beginning, and the hope of a bright new future.
The sale of a home through the breakup of a marriage partnership,
means a sad end of that dream, and all that 'might have been.' For the
elderly, selling their home after the death of a spouse or because they
can no longer maintain the home physically, or financially, means often
a lifetime of memories, being left behind.
Behind every Sale and Purchase agreement is a story. The guidance,
knowledge, and empathy, of not a commisioin driven, but a 'caring
professional', is just so important when carrying out one of our life's
most important transactions.
